A world leader in the medical feild is looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our Electronics Team based in one of their main R&D sites. The purpose of this role will be to design, develop and evaluate electronic sub-systems and components for imaging systems.
Key responsibilities
* To design and develop the following circuits and systems
High voltage circuits for sources including HV multipliers, HV transformers and power magnetics.
Power electronic circuits including rectifiers, HF inverters, resonant circuits, linear and switched mode power supplies.
Analogue, digital and microcontroller-based circuits.
Motion control systems based on field bus technologies
Low voltage electrical power distribution and control circuits to current safety standards
Functional safety systems to current safety standards
Design and test systems for compliance with EMC and Low Voltage directives
