Description
Regulatory compliance experience in retail or private banking required for a tier 1 bank based in London to lead complex projects focusing on ring-fencing the banks investment activities from the retails / private banking activities.The ring-fencing rules set out by the regulator affect banks with £25bn or more of UK deposits. This is being implemented due to the level of risk banks are exposed to outside of the day to day retail / private banking activities.
As my client is affected by this ring-fencing rule we are looking for a solid retail or private banking compliance manager to assist in meeting the deadline of 2019 set out by the regulator.
We are looking for someone who:
Technically astute on UK compliance regulations
Can interpret complex regulations
Is comfortable with change processes
Has an understanding of financial promotions
Is able to work with large amounts of MI
Ideally comes from another large UK bank
Is experienced in providing regulatory compliance oversight
Worked closely with the regulator PRA/FCA
Understands internal processes of a bank
