Description
An experienced Compliance Officer is needed for a corporate bank based in Canary Wharf.With this position, you will be working in the Chief Compliance Operations Office, co-ordinating operational services across the Compliance sectors of the corporate bank such as Business Management, Governance and Risk. Experience in one or more of these areas from a compliance perspective is essential
Your key responsibilities will be to provide a corporate governance process and to report compliance data to drive management decision making. You will manage strategic financial planning and headcount operations, reviewing the effectiveness of compliance as a second line of defence.
You will need EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills as you will be working alongside internal and external stakeholders, delivering operational excellence by calling out synergies and celebrating effective cross-function delivery. You will also be a team leader, providing guidance to more junior colleagues.
For this position, you need to be able to exercise integrity and judgement to influence behaviours and be resilient to change, as well as have strong attention to detail.
