Senior Counsel - Employment
A Senior Counsel with Employment Law experience is required to work on initial six month contract a Financial Services client based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Financial Services client based in Swindon.
Overview of the Senior Counsel contract role:
Working within a highly respected and motivated team, this role will see you working on TUPE, complex grievances and disciplinaries as well as overseeing the management of tribunal claims together with contact and policy advice and promises plenty of variety besides - especially when you factor in the wide variety of ad-hoc enquiries from across the Group that you'll deal with
Key skills required for the Senior Counsel
You'll ideally have circa 5 plus years PQE employment law experience, preferably within a financial services environment. With an impressive background either in-house or private practice, your professional experience will cover TUPE, settlement agreements, complex grievances, restructuring and disciplinaries. Naturally, this will be supported by an in-depth knowledge of regulatory, compliance and audit controls plus a proven ability to think strategically and work on your own initiative. We'll also expect you to show expert project and risk management, team working and relationship building skills.
The role is based in Swindon this is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Cirencester, Reading, Cheltenham.
