Charles River - Pre Trade Coding Specialist (FCA COLL Knowledge) - 4 weeks - £400 - £500/day
EMEA Compliance require a Charles River specialist on a short term contract basis to assist with the review and correction of pre- trade rules coded to Charles River:
- Six ICVC funds (two are direct investments funds, four are fund of funds only)
- Reconciliation between the FCA COLL rules; prospectus rules and the rules which have already been coded into Charles River
- Money Manager guidelines must be reviewed, and where appropriate, revised in line with regulatory requirements
- For the two direct investment funds there are some additional investment rules
- Adding of rules which are missing from Charles River
- Deletion of rules which are not required in Charles River
- Rules should be coded as either alerts which cannot be over ridden by the portfolio managers (regulatory; prospectus) and warnings (in relation to investment rules)
- Review, and where appropriate, revise violation level eg change from warning to alert
- For rules which cannot be coded (due to data limitations) pop up warnings should be set up to warn portfolio managers that a manual check is required
