Description
One of our NHS clients in North Yorkshire is looking for a Clinical Coder to cover substantive posts whilst they recruit to fill the roles. The contract is for 3 months with the possibility of an extension. The day rate is £240-£260.The contract is 37.5 hours p/w with flexible working between 8am - 6pm available.
The client is one of the largest trusts in the U.K and the role will involve a large mix of complex and general specialities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the conversion of both paper and electronic case notes into alpha numeric codes towards standards using ICD10 and OPCS and the successful Clinical Coder will have experience of these.
The successful Clinical Coder will have achieved accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status, the recognised Clinical Coder Qualification, and completed a refresher course within the last 3 years. The candidate will also have updated coding books from the last 2 years.
The role can start as soon as possible but the client is willing to wait up to 4 weeks for the right candidate.
