CONTRACT MANAGER

We are currently recruiting for our client, a Global IT & Telecommunications Organisation, for Contract Manager to join their project in Denmark.

Objective:
- Establish a well-functioning contract management capability for the account team to support it business operation and future growth.
- Improve the overall contract management efficiency by streamline the existing process and introducing industry best practice.
- Support the account team to achieve its financial objectives by implementing and executing the refined process.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies in EMEA.
- Proactively manage the contract execution for a large Business & IT transformation project, including but not limited to:
-- Serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters. Coordinate between the delivery team and customer’s sourcing department, ensuring timely review and approval reconciliation of variations.
-- Timely alignment with the project delivery team to maintain records and documentation that has contractual implications. Take necessary actions when violations are deviations are identified.
-- As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other project delivery staff, including training to new project managers in the scope and contractual obligations of the project.
-- Attend the vendor management meeting for the project deliveries and build a favorable working relationship with the client’s sourcing department. Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies,export controls etc.
-- Manage the PO/contracting/invoicing process with the customer and back office, supported by a commercial assistant, when necessary.
-- Manage the contract implementation with relevant subcontractors of the project.
- Support the pricing, contract negotiation for new projects with existing and new customers.
- Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.

Profile and qualifications:
- Educational background in business law and ITsoftware industry knowledge are highly preferred.
- At least 3 years experience of commercial or contract management experience, preferably at IT system integrator or consulting firm.
- Flexible for frequent business travel.
- Appreciate cultural diversity and dynamic working environment. Solid team player.
- Eager to win.
- Fluent in English is a must, any additional language skills would be a plus.
