Description
Progressive GE is working with some of our Building Services clients in the Glasgow area to source Electrcial Design Engineer's to join their team on either a Contract or Permanent basis.Only applicants with at least 3 years Building Services experience within a Electrical Design based role will be considered.
Building Services Industry background is ESSENTIAL
Role:
- Provide input on design strategy and conceptual design relative to electrical installations.
- Design calculations for electrical installations within major building projects.
- Design electrical installations including the production of design drawings, diagrams, schematics , project specifications and schedules.
- Design electrical installations to meet British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards.
Experience:
- Building Services Industry background is ESSENTIAL
- Project management skills
- Software skills including: Microsoft Office, Dialux/Relux, Hevacomp/Amtech
- AutoCAD Experience
There are permanent opportunities as well as Contract positions which are for 3 months with strong possibility of extension due to more up and coming projects.
