Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Glasgow & Edinburgh based positions .Progressive GE are currently working with one of our key clients in the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in across various locations in Scotland.
This exciting opportunity would allow for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with l building services engineering experience to join a reputable UK wide organisation.
Day to day activities will include:
- Undertake Electrical design and consultancy work including systems design, production, specifications , calculations and schedules
- Provide reports and advice to Clients. Liaise with other design team members internal and external, represent the business at meetings.
- Check adequacy and accuracy of information and documentation produced by others
- Carry out all personal management duties including weekly recording of man-hour
- Commitments to individual projects and reporting on a monthly basis particular project fee input information.
- Manage projects including organisation of junior staff and project delivery to time and cost requirement
- Carry out site supervision duties and surveys
- Development of project cost plans
- Involvement in tenders and bids
- Develop and mentor more junior engineers
This role is ideal for a candidate that has gained a solid building services experience and is looking to continue their career within this area in a senior position.
