Communication Advisor - 6 month contract - Defence Organisation - Barrow in Furness
Advantage Resourcing is seeking candidates to apply for a Communications Adviser based with a Defence Organisation based in Barrow in Furness. This will be an initial 6 months contract at the rate of £29.72 per hour limited. We are looking for someone to be responsible for the delivery of Communications plans and communications activities. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders and you will ideally have a strong working knowledge of communications policies and brand guidelines.
Qualities which we are ideally seeking in applicants:
*A good understanding of core communications principles, techniques and skills.
*Good problem solving skills.
*Experience in a variety of communications roles, specifically internal communications.
*Lead on the development of communications plans/projects under guidance from senior communications professionals.
*Ability to persuade and influence multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
*Degree and/or relevant professional certificate or equivalent experience.
*Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
*Ability to persuade and influence through effective communications.
*Skilled in the use of Microsoft and/or other relevant software packages.
