Description
Huxley Engineering have an immediate requirement for a Building/Construction Foreman on a new energy from Waste Site based in the West Midlands.The Project with include all of the initial Construction of building on the Site. The Client has an urgent need for this position so is wanting to interview as soon as possible.The contract is in the region of nine months in length with the opportunity to progress to other projects with the company and a competitive rate of pay is on offer.
The Candidate will be expected to oversee these duties on site -
*Managing Health and Safety on Site
*Delievering daily briefings to Sub contractors
*Managing and overseeing Labour
*Site Inductions
*Liaising with the Site Manager and Project Manager
*Order all plant and materials
The Ideal Candidate will have the ability to manage various contractors for packages of work such as cladding and excellent communication skills to be able to communicate effectively across departments and with other major contractors on site.
It is essential that the candidate has -
- Managed contractors effectively before
- Worked on major construction projects in the UK ideally EfW, Biomass, CCGT
- Excellent HSE record
- Demonstrable Building Services experience
