Statutory Reporting Accountant - London - £350 per day
Large FTSE 100 FMCG require a statutory reporting accountant to help with the integration of a newly acquired business. The key responsibility here is to ensure that the relevant UK Statutory accounts for 2015 are accurate, and fit for purpose;
Basic qualifications:
Qualified (CTA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) overseas equivalents;
An understanding of the wider principles of Statutory Reporting, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Direct and Indirect Taxes, with specific knowledge of the Statutory Reporting, IFRS, ERP systems and GAAP reporting, would be considered essential;
Preferred Professional background:
Big 4 firm, Shared Services Centre Environment (specially in Knowledge Transfer Projects),
Outsourcing
International work experience
Healthcare Sector and Manufacturing & Distribution business;
Preferred professional experience to include:
Management of Statutory Reporting process, end to end, UK group reporting and single legal entity reporting;
Financial modelling skills/high level of competence using Excel and SAP;
Numeracy, accuracy, attention to detail and displays initiative in solving problems;
Disciplined, excellent organisation, empathy & resilience towards shared service centre set ups, with capacity of working under pressure and working with tight deadlines;
This position is based in West London and offers a daily rate up to £350 per day for an initial 3 months.
