Description
My Glasgow based client is currently looking for a number of Reconciliation Analysts to join their team. The will be to investigate and resolve cash reconciliation discrepancies across the business, but focusing on trading and settlement relating cash breaks. The role also requires the ability to resolve and report discrepancies that will require further action to clear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate aged cash breaks to identify route cause of break and follow through to resolution.
- Match bank statement and general ledger items related to trade purchases.
- Ensure pre funded trades have been confirmed and reconciled against bank statement and general ledger.
- Contact Fund Managers regarding outstanding settlements/renunciation forms.
- Set up Fund Manager coverall instructions.
- Complete MI tracking progress of cash breaks.
Knowledge/Experience:
Essential:
- Previous experience in Financial Services
- Reconciliations Experience
- Trading experience preferential as will be working to clear trading related cash breaks
- Knowledge of the trading and settlement cycle
Desirable:
- Experience of stock reconciliation functions
- Experience of working to strict deadlines, targets, service level agreements
- Be able to take ownership of resolving issues
