Newly Qualified AccountantA Newly Qualified Accountant is required to join the Financial Control Team of a Top Tier Investment Bank in the heart of the City. The Newly Qualified Accountant will be taking responsibility for the control and reporting of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), ensuring the timely and accurate reporting to Head Office.
Part of the daily responsibilities of the Newly Qualified Accountant will be preparation of the SPV trial Balance using data sourced from Custodians, Bank statements and Front Office. The Balance Sheet and P&L reports will need to be submitted in a timely fashion. As SPVs generally involve multiple legal entities the Newly Qualified Accountant needs to ensure that the structure is being reported correctly. This is imperative.
To qualify for this position the Newly Qualified Accountant needs experience of preparing Financial Statements, be CIMA or ACCA or ACA, be a proficient MS Excel user and ideally Big 4 trained.
