Description

We are currently working with a multinational Insurance, Investment Banking and Investment Management business. An opening has arisen for a Senior Procurement Manager in an 18 month fixed-term contract

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead the planning, stakeholder engagement and delivery for all Procurement requirements within the marketing functions across the UK influencing spends totalling over £50m. Reporting to the Head of Category Management this is an essential role in ensuring the continued ability of the procurement team to deliver its strategic change initiatives.

Ideally you should hold a CIPS Professional Procurement qualification and have solid procurement experience ideally in a financial services environment. You will be dealing with senior stakeholders so need to be comfortable influencing upwards.

You will be a strong communicator with exceptional relationship building and influencing skills. You will have a proven ability to interact with all levels of the business. General business acumen, self-motivation, the ability to work well in a team environment and under time pressure is also key.
