Solvency II Accountant - Group reporting
We are currently looking for a solvency II accountant to work at Group Level for a large insurance company in the City. This Solvency II accountant will be split between BAU and Project work within the Group.
Solvency II accountant responsibilities;
- Preparation and assistance with the consolidated solvency II balance sheet for Group and other UK entities.
- Preparation and aggregation of Solvency II QRT's
- Group Regulatory reporting
- Reconciliation of Solvency II balance sheets to QRT's and other data
- Assistance with the preparation of existing solvency I returns.
- Assistance with planning and communicating reporting time tables and instructions with Regional finance teams and other UK stakeholders.
- System user acceptance testing.
- Draft committee packs and other review materials for group stakeholders.
- Assist with coordination and production of material for SII returns.
Solvency II accountant skills/Experience;
- Qualified accountant (acca, aca, acma, cima...)
- General insurance experience
- Financial reporting/Regulatory reporting
