NHS Band 7 Continuing Healthcare Contracts ManagerReal Staffing are collaborating with an ambitious NHS CSU based in London who are looking for an interim Continuing Healthcare Contracts Manager to manage a portfolio of Nursing Care & Domiciliary Care AQP contracts.
The Continuing Healthcare Contracts Manager will be expected to negotiate new AQP agreements with providers & to stabilise the portfolio.
The Continuing Healthcare Contracts Manager role will be for a 5 month period initially with possibility of extension paying between £300-£325 per day.
Reporting to the Head of Contracts, the Continuing Healthcare Contracts Manager will be responsible for:
- Liaising with CCG's in order to have terms singed for AQP agreements
- Managing the day to day running of the portfolio
- Negotiating terms with the CCG's & Providers
- Engaging with stakeholders to ensure all parties are happy with outcomes
- Implementing contractual levers to monitor Providers performance
- Producing performance reports & reporting to board
- Working alongside the Head of to get the portfolio on a stable footing
- Challenging providers where needed if not adhering to contractual obligations
- Chair & lead on internal & external meetings
Requirements for the Continuing Healthcare Contracts Manager:
- In depth knowledge of NHS Standard Contract
- AQP experience
- Negotiation skills
- Senior engagement skills
- Persuasive nature
- Proven ability to manage a multi-million pound contracts portfolio
- Organisation skills
- Ability to demonstrate how you have implemented contractual levers & delivered value for money in doing so
