Description

FRTB Project Manager (Business Change) required by HSBC Global Banking & Markets.

This role is only an 8 week FRTB opportunity assessment project but will potentially go live (6-12 months). We are also willing to pay premium rate for these niche skills and the fact that it may be short term.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the project day-to-day with key immediate activities including Opportunity Assessment, shaping the proposed solution, developing the business case, assessing the go-forward options and developing recommendations.

Skills & experience required;

  • Business Change Project Management & Business Analysis
  • Process Change Project Management & Business Analysis
  • Regulatory Change Project Management & Business Analysis (Basel, BCBCS239, Volker, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID, FRTB, etc)
  • Market Risk functions (RWA calculations, risk modelling inputs, etc)
  • Working with Front Office, Market Risk teams, Quants, etc
  • Experience in the Investment Banking industry and relevant industry trends
  • A structured and practical approach with an ability to create clarity out of ambiguity and present problem statements and associated analysis in a way that is easily understood
  • Personal and career motivation to engage fully in the programme, to further develop the program and influencing skills to get things done.
  • Experience gained from either working in the sourcing function of a financial services institution or a consultancy advising on sourcing
  • University commercial degree or equivalent and/or with practical Business or IT experience in Banking and Capital Markets
  • Awareness of formal project and program management methods
