NHS General Manager for Cancer ServicesReal Staffing are collaborating with a prestigious NHS Trust based in London who are looking for an interim General Manager for Cancer Services for an initial 6 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned & experienced General Manager to form part of a dynamic team & to help the Trust reach national targets.
You will be expected to deliver on all key activities within the service & ensure the service is left in a stable position by the end of the assignment.
The role will be paying between £550-£600 per day depending on experience.
Reporting into the Divisional Director your main duties will include:
- Directing on the delivery of all key activity within the service
- Ensuring national & internal targets are met
- Provider leadership to junior members of staff & provide in depth advice on Cancer services
- Chair weekly Patient Treatment List meetings
- Deputise for the Divisional Director on any matters where needed
- Develop transformation plans & performance management levers in order to ensure patients receive the required level of service
The requirements for the General Manager post:
- Available within the next two weeks
- Operational experience within Cancer Services to an 8c level within an NHS Trust
- Ability to demonstrate delivery within previous roles
- RTT experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all manner of colleagues
- Proven background in improving Cancer waiting times & meeting national RTT targets
