Description
Functional Analyst required with a solid financial/ banking background to join a client in Belgium for 48 months.The right candidate will be required to analyse and implement (or follow the implementation) of standard or customized SAP solutions within the context of large scale complex IT projects involving SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) systems integrating one or more SAP components.
Knowledge and skills
- Deep understanding of public sector procurement, budgetary management systems, processes, and financial management systems driven by SAP.
- Skilled in working with subject matter experts (typically accountants, auditors or controllers) and translate those needs into a SAP environment, in compliance with SAP standards.
- Proven in-depth knowledge of the following SAP modules: MM, FI, CO, FM, AA (Asset Accounting), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
- Capable of customizing the aforementioned SAP modules.
- Designing integration solutions between a SAP component and third party (non-SAP) software.
In addition to the above knowledge and skills, experience or knowledge of the below would be a great benefit:
- Public sector finance qualifications/certifications such as UK's Cert IPSFR (Certificate in International Public Sector Financial Reporting).
- A sound grasp of Treasury Management (e.g. securities) concepts.
- Proven project management skills
- Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP programming
- Working knowledge of different SAP modules
- ARIS 7.2 upwards
- SAP Solution Manager
