NHS Operations Manager - Specialist Medicine Band 8cReal Staffing are collaborating with a prestigious NHS Trust based in London who are looking for an interim Operations Manager for to focus on Specialist Medicine.
The role is going to be working on a number of services including, Dermatology, Diabetes, Gastro, Oncology, Elderly Care & Haematology.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned & experienced Operations Manager to form part of a dynamic team & to help the Trust reach national targets.
You will be expected to deliver on all key activities within the service & ensure the service is left in a stable position by the end of the assignment.
The role will be paying £400 per day.
Reporting into the Divisional Director, the Operations Managers main duties will include:
- Directing on the delivery of all key activity within the service
- Ensuring national & internal targets are met
- Provider leadership to junior members of staff & provide in depth advice on Specialist Medicine services
- Chair weekly Patient Treatment List meetings
- Deputise for the Divisional Director on any matters where needed
- Develop transformation plans & performance management levers in order to ensure patients receive the required level of service
The requirements for the Operations Manager post:
- Available in September
- Operational experience within Specialist Medicine to an 8c level within an NHS Trust
- Ability to demonstrate delivery within previous roles
- RTT experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all manner of colleagues
- Proven background in improving Specialist Medicine services & meeting national RTT targets
