An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer
My client is well known manufacturer of industrial waste shredding equipment. Due to an increase in workload a requirement for additional resource has been raised.
Working under the operations manager you will be responsible for the day to day duties of the workshop. Turning around machinery as fast you can to alleviate the workload from the field engineers and assist in reducing downtime lost by the clients.
This is hands on roll so it is essential that you have experience in stripping out, and putting gearboxes and technical machinery together in a methodical manner.
The business has a family culture from the top down, friendly and open. However this is a fast paced environment where everyone gets their hands dirty and works towards the same goals.
Essential Skills:
Mechanical Engineering background in motors
Experience of working on heavy machines
Must be fit due to heavy machinery
Experience in Welding
This is an exciting opportunity that could lead to an ongoing assignment.
