Description
An NHS client is looking for a experienced Clinical Coder to work with a medium to large sized coding team to help with the current workload on live case notes.
The trusts Clinical Coding department works from a mixture of paper based and electronic case notes so having experience with both would be essential.
This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to secure stability in a contract as it would be looking to go on for 6-12 months in total and contracted in solid 3 month spells.
Real Staffing have interview slots booked for any successful Clinical Coder subject to client approval on the CV.
Experience needed:
- 3+ years Coding experience in the NHS
- Confident with both ICD-10 and OPCS
- Experience with NHS coding systems
- Access to coding books
- Refresher course in the last 3 years
Desirable:
- NCCQ/ACC qualification
- Own Smartcard
- Previous experience working from paper based notes
