Operations Director

Manning Global is recruiting an Operations Director for our client, a global leading telecommunication company, to be based in Trinidad and Tobago.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a range to telecommunications infrastructure build and upgrade projects
- Effectively liaising with key client representatives to further the interests of the company and promote business growth
- Ensuring financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments
- Reviewing working practices to ascertain if it is successful and if not, devise an alternative
- Ensure effective compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and policy, Environmental & Quality policy, Operational Instructions and Company policy
- Keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training
- Ensuring the business operates within the company's mission statement
- Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues
- Working with department heads and senior management to get the best performance from staff
- Driving the business to increase profits
- Reviewing and approving equipment needs

Qualifications:
- Third level bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 10+ years senior management experience
- Project management qualification or accreditation a plus
- Telecommunications sector background
- Strong negotiation, organization, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Basic computer knowledge in programs like Microsoft Office.
