The Junior Project Manager has day-to-day responsibility for the smooth and effective running of their projects with a focus on great delivery. To do this you should have great skills in effective project leadership and an understanding of project initiation, budget control, project tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis and quality assurance. A small but growing design + web agency seeks a Junior Project Manager to join our smart, fast moving team. We operate with our clients as partners, digital strategists and an extended production team.
We've been at this a long time, and draw from a sizable vault of experience and expertise when we're tasked with solving problems through design and technology. We've helped Moms and Pops grow their sales, higher education institutions better educate, and Fortune 500 corporations better serve their customers. We're fortunate to work in a business where we get to learn about a whole new industry with almost every new client, and we never ever want to stop learning.
Our project types range from small RWD retrofits and custom web platforms to digital strategy and consultation. We put a heavy emphasis on leveraging technology to run our processes and projects, and are often adapting to accommodate for the progresses in digital.
Additional Details
This position is for a part-time 1099 contractor. There are opportunities for full-time employment as we continue to grow. We recognize that this is most likely a remote position, and as such, you should have the necessary discipline required to work independently and communicate often with the team. We have offices just north of San Francisco and in Springfield, Illinois, where you are welcome to work if you live in either locale.
