An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service representative to join and progress with one of the world's leading financial institutions. You will join a multilingual and dynamic department, working among a team who have a passion for languages and delivering excellent customer service. As Customer Service Representative you will answer cardholders' telephone enquiries and provide a superior quality experience in accordance with established quality, revenue and productivity goals. Through building strong business relationships with our clients on a global scale you will add value to our bank.

You will be required to work round a varying shift patterns between 7am & 5pm (35 hour weeks)

Responsibilities:
* Handling a wide range of cardholder queries regarding the day-to-day running of their commercial card accounts
* Dealing with calls from authorisation centers and merchants regarding the processing of transactions
* Handling more complicated cardholder queries and where necessary, referring cardholders to supervisors
* Ensuring that responsibility is taken for resolving cardholder queries
* Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and awareness of bank wide activities and issues
* Ensuring that all calls are handled in an empathetic, positive and professional manner, and actioned in accordance with departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

* Ability to convey a professional, courteous and positive attitude when dealing with cardholders.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a high volume, multi-faceted environment.
* Self-motivated and results-orientated.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* High flexibility and adaptability
* Ability to influence and negotiate with others.

Desirable:

* Previous background in a Customer Contact area
