Description

I am looking for a Communications and Events Assistant for one of my public sector client.

Please see the below job specification:

Providing support to the Events Manager in organizing and running events including assisting
with logistics, manning event stands and evaluating impact.
To lead on managing the weekly and long-term forward planning grids for both internal and
external communications, and coordinate process for updating grids with range of internal
stakeholders.
To provide administrative support to Head of Comms and rest of team eg managing diaries,
setting up meetings, booking rooms and travel.
Building a good relationship with CEOs Private Office and other key internal stakeholders
Assisting with media monitoring and social media publishing.
Producing occasional PowerPoint presentations for Head of Comms or other team members

We are looking for a motivated and highly organized individual who has experience organizing events and can provide events and administrative support to the communications team and diary support to the Head of Communications.

Role Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Events Manager in organizing and running a range of external customer events and internal staff events. In addition, they will provide forward planning and administrative support for the communications team and manage the diary of the Head of Communications, as well as assisting with media monitoring and social media delivery.

Additional Requirements
Willing to travel to other client offices where necessary to attend meetings or events. client offices are in Liverpool, Norwich, Newport, Leeds and Bristol. Willing to travel to and attend external events where relevant.
