Senior Systems Engineer - Dublin, Ireland
My client, a telecommunications company, is now looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to join the ever growing team in their Dublin office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer on a daily rate contract basis.
The Job:
- To provide ICT advice and/or professional services to both internal and external clients.
- To provide support on projects, carrying out elements of the research, analysis and/or delivery.
- To provide operational support ensuring KPIs and SLA are achieved.
- May lead on the delivery of specific components of a project.
- Occasionally provides on the job training to other team members.
- To support the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures.
- May involve liaising with internal, external and third party suppliers.
The ideal candidate:
- Formal vendor training to professional certification standards, eg Citrix, MCP, MCTIP, MCSE, Dell, HP certified systems engineer etc.
- Citrix Xenapp/Desktop administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in SQL Cluster Installation and Admin on base Windows OS ) with Microsoft SQL server ).
- Proven DNS & DHCP Implementation and Administration experience.
- Experience in networking and Proxy Servers
- Windows administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Ensure all documentation is 100% accurate before presenting it to the customer for approval.
- Experience in patching.
