Description

We are currently recruiting for an Information Assurance Engineer for our client based in Brussels, Belgium -

Qualified individual will be the Information Assurance Engineer responsible to maintain the high availability of the NATO enterprise as well as maintain the integrity and confidentiality of this highly visible environment. The environment supports in excess of 5000 users and operates at multiple classification levels. In this position, the candidate is responsible for completion of accreditation documentation, security review of all changes to the enterprise baseline, monitoring of security related alerts, proposing remediation for incidents and providing incident response and forensics capture. This role is also responsible for configuration updates to end-point security protection, including malware/anti-virus configuration, host intrusion protection and vulnerability monitoring as well as DMZ and cross-domain solution protections to included trusted guards and perimeter firewalls.

This customer-facing role will work with the broader NATO information assurance community to coordinate updates to the baseline, prioritize security changes requested by NATO and support investigations. Required technical skills and experience includes: fundamentals of network design and system engineering, security practices and awareness of resources to secure networks. Successful candidate must be a team builder, and possess outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be a self-starting program solver with the ability to work with military and civilian personnel in a potential high stress environment with limited supervision.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

- Must hold a current DoD 8570 IAT III certification, CISSP preferred.
- Some experience performing IA activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing and sustainment
- Some experience with risk and vulnerability assessments and mitigation
- Ability to provide guidance on NATO IA regulations and requirements to engineering staff and the IA team.
- Some experience with employment of NATO IA requirements or member nation equivalents, policies, and processes to include certification and accreditation
- Experience with Cross Domain Security services, including one-way data transfer, data labeling, email and file inspection, inter-domain attribution
- Experience with boundary protection systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection/protection systems
- Experience in security aspects of access control services, Active Directory and PKI solutions with smartcard services
- Mobile device security to include smartphones and tablets
- Network security including Network Access Control solutions.
- A desire to continue to learn new security concepts and offer pro-active updates to emerging attack
- Virtualization security including VMWare, Hyper-V and CITRIX XenDesktop and XenApp client.
- End point device security including anti-virus protection, host intrusion protection, vulnerability assessment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft product security and configuration concepts including Operating System Group Policy Objects (OS GPO's), MS SQL 2012 and MS LYNC 2013, System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Orchestrator, and System Center Operations Manager
- Red Hat Enterprise 7 (RHEL7) security concepts and hardening
- Patch assessment across the enterprise to include RHEL7, Microsoft Windows OS platforms (2012 R2, Win 8.1) as well as application patching.
- Open source risk assessment to include ongoing monitoring and updates.
- Some COMSEC experience for secure transport of classified data.
- Scripting knowledge including regular expression development (REGEX) and PowerShell
- Understanding of ITIL Foundations, Service Oriented Architecture, and maintaining IA related Service Level Agreements
