Manual tester - 5 month contract - South Manchester (.Net)A major company in South Manchester are looking for a Manual Tester / Test Engineer / Software Tester, to work on a major project for them testing a .Net application they are developing.
The right test engineer will have strong manual testing experience, ideally working on a Microsoft Windows application (experience testing winforms applications would be extremely beneficial). To add to that, they are looking for someone that is capable of setting up test environments themselves, as well as testing the SQL Server, using things such as SQL Manager.
Some of the key skills needed:
- Manual testing experience
- Experience using test manager
- Experience setting up the testing environment, taking the build from TFS
- Someone that can understand the requirement (perhaps someone who has had a Business Analysis background)
- SQL Server testing experience
- .Net testing experience
- Winforms testing experience
This role is originally for 5 months, but with a good chance of extension to at least the 6 month mark, if not longer. They need someone that can hit the ground running, so are happy to wait for the right person (2-4 weeks maximum).
Ideally they are looking to pay in the region of £30 to £35/hour (7.5 hour day). This would be based 5 days a week on site in their south Manchester offices.
