WANTED: Next Generation are currently looking for a IT Cloud Architect for a 6 month day rate contract role. This is a Dublin City Centre based role.
This a key role and a ground floor opportunity to advance our application portfolio to the cloud and advance the firm's capabilities to deliver repeatable, consistent, and performant architectures through automation practices. The successful candidate will be given great latitude to flex skill set and introduce innovative change to achieve the objectives, those being application migration and cloud native solutions. This is a ground floor opportunity with a rock solid private firm.

For this role:
- 2-4+ year hands-on experience with a diverse set of Amazon Web Services (compute, storage, network, security, administration, application services, databases
- 3+ years architecting experience with Microsoft Windows (2008+) based solutions (custom development and/or Windows packages)
- 2+ years architecting experience with Windows based services such as Active Directory, Service Bus, or similar
- Architect AWS based solutions for cloud migration of custom developed applications
- Automate provisioning of both cloud based infrastructure and application deployment/configuration to support the development organization
- Introduce a configuration management strategy to enable rapid deployment of new stacks and align to firmwide approaches
