Frontend/UI HTML Developer: UI/iFrame: Oil & Gas Co.
World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Frontend HTML Developer to join their External Relations Global Function team who are responsible for managing all external Digital content to maintain and enhance the company's reputation.
As a Frontend HTML Developer you will support the creation, testing and delivery of new content/functionality that is iframed into their site.
Responsibilities:
- Review requests for iframed content and consult with business leads
- Creating a library of iframed content
- Help business lines reuse/repurpose iframed content
- Where gaps in capability exist, work with business lines to develop suitable iframed content
- Work with tech team to create new iframed content
- Document all iframed content and how they can be configured/reused
- Work with Online standards and the Branding team to ensure that content is reviewed and in line with policies and standards (eg WCAG rules and Brand guidelines)
- Work with the Digital Development team to reuse tools and systems where possible
- Work with the Analytics team to make sure iframed content is tracked
- Help test and implement the assets onto the live sites
- Ensure business ownership is understood once the asset is live (eg monitor and how to report issues)
About You:
Experience required:
- Proven Front End development experience
- A passion for learning new technologies
- An ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy team environment
- A user-centric focus to UI design
- Experience working in line with WCAG standards and Brand guidelines
- Experience working with Digital Analytics
Skills required:
- Proven development and UI experience
- Professional experience with HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
- Some Adobe Creative tools experience would be useful
- Object Oriented Principles
- In depth understanding of responsive design
- Integration with Web Services (REST/SOAP) experience
Desirable Skills:
Experience of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Analytics
Experience with WorkFront
