We have just been asked to find an experienced contract IT Training Manager to join the Bristol office of a thriving UK client. The is dual role that requires the successful consultant to deliver ongoing BAU IT training, but also concurrently conducting a review of how our client delivers its training and make key recommendations for the firms ongoing approach. The successful IT Training Manager will have substantial commercial training experience as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of delivering training at individual or group level. This role as the IT Training Manager will involve the training of both new and existing staff members across the companywide IT Systems and working practices. Central to the role will be delivery of training across off the shelf packages such as MS Office and also bespoke legal software developed for and by this prominent legal organisation. You will be extremely well organised as well as having excellent understanding of IT Systems and be fully conversant across the entire Microsoft Office suite. As part of this dedicated knowledge function the IT Training Manager must be able to converse at all levels including senior management, and be a real team player. You will also be involved in project work and you will also have involvement in designing and implementing roll-out plans for new and upgraded applications. This is a key role our client who are a major industry force with a truly global presence. To be considered for this IT Training Manager position it is highly likely that you will have worked within the legal or professional services market not only delivering IT related courses but also having operated at a strategic training level in the past.

Essential Skills:

  • Microsoft Office suite

  • eLearning solutions

  • Legal Applications - CMS, DMS, Digital Dictation, Time Recoding etc

  • Experience of working with people at all levels

  • Group and individual training

  • Excellent organisational skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Legal IT Training

  • Professional Training Qualifications

  • Experience of Microsoft SharePoint

  • Webinar experience

This an excellent company and it is hoped that a skilled training professional can be found in return for a competitive daily rate of c£350 p/day + Expenses. Travel will be expected.
