Description
Fruition is seeking a seasoned, Senior Drupal developer, with a strong understanding of industry trends, who will work directly with our design, development and marketing teams, to manage our growing list of clients. We are looking for someone who knows Drupal inside and out – front end and back end, and is passionate about working on a variety of fun and challenging projects.
The successful applicant will have a comprehensive knowledge of all things Drupal including: Theming, Views, Module customization and API integration. They will be up to date with the latest CSS3, HTML 5 and Mobile Responsive coding conventions. Examples of live sites will be required to show your experience.
Responsibilities
Drupal set-up and configuration
Custom, programming and web application development for Drupal
Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Drupal-based websites
Contributing to internal projects to find solutions and various problems
Qualifications
In depth architectural knowledge
Experience with large scale and complex websites using Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules and the core API, CCK, Views and Panels
Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
Knowledgeable about using templates to theme
Proficient in hand-coding HTML and table-less CSS
Can display expertise in PHP
Can display expertise in SQL, relational databases and MySQL
Can display expertise in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX and JQuery
Familiarity with GIT
Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications – provided examples of previous work required
Experience in developing responsive design websites using bootstrap CSS framework and building custom Drupal modules
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Fierce desire to learn, strong problem-solving skills;
Able to manage fast-paced work environment, sometimes tight deadlines and new challenges
Able to communicate clearly, work (and play) well with others
