Description
Lionstep Media is a fast paced, cutting edge leader in the interactive industry, and we need developers to match. We’re looking for a candidate with master level command of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Intuitive understanding of interactive media is a necessity. Familiarity with Photoshop etc. is important and design chops are a major plus. Candidates must be able to manage projects in conjunction with designers as well as effectively communicate the principles of responsive design.
SKILLS
Expert-level HTML & CSS skills.
Mobile, progressive degradation, responsive design and experience with older browsers.
Must be able to create a consistent experience across browsers and platforms.
Knowledge of Javascript and especially JQuery or equivalent. Experience writing JQuery plugins a plus.
Master DOM manipulators: ability to do flashy experiences or complex SPA GUIs apps a major plus. Backbone? SproutCore? Sweet. Raphael? Processing? Groovy.
Knowledge of server-side languages (Ruby, Python, PHP) a plus. Experience working with Ruby on Rails a major plus, as well as SASS, Coffeescript, HAML.
Knowledge of HTML5 tech, including CSS3 and Canvas
Experience with WordPress or other vendor CMS systems a plus.
Ability to use SVN, Git, terminal, etc.
