Your tasks:
- Configure and document Web Service interfaces and connections to partner systems on XML appliances (CA API Gateway, formerly Layer 7 SecureSpan SOA Gateway)
- Provide support and consulting to application developers, system integrators or solution architects to help them implementing their requirements
- Engineer and execute infrastructure lifecycle tasks on XML appliances
- Contribute to 3rd level support (troubleshooting) and support of incident, change, problem management processes in collaboration with clients, 2nd level support and providers
Your qualifications
- Profound experience in configuring policies on a CA API Gateway
- Advanced knowledge in HTTP, XML/XSD, JSON, SOAP, REST and the various Web Service standards (WS-*) is a prerequisite
- Good knowledge in the security area (SSL/TLS, PKI, various authentication methods)
- Basic understanding about OAuth 2.0 (incl. grant types and scopes)
- Good Linux and network skills
- Hands-on experience in Unix Shell Scripting
- Very good communication skills in English and German
