Beacon Hill Technologies has a 6 month contract opportunity for a Service Now Administrator.
Job Details:
- Be responsible for supporting, configuring, and developing within the enterprise ServiceNow ITSM solution.
- Support the existing ITSM product modules and working with the service owners, process owners, business analysts and developers to resolve issues/defects, identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
This position will be structured as shown below:
- 40% of time spent documenting and testing changes and promoting through the QA process
- 15% Monitor programs and integration points and responses to errors
- 15% Upgrade and patch regression testing
- 15% Function as a Business Analyst to develop project requirements
- 15% Develops, debugs, tests and implements ServiceNow enhancements on small scale
Education
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. Or in the absence of a degree, directly related job experience in a systems support role in a small to medium organization, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator preferred.
Experience
Preferred experience includes: Prior experience writing detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Experience in ITSM tool configuration, use of Scripting and programming languages, specifically JavaScript and HTML. Experience working on a software development team and familiarity with QA and testing practices within a defined software development life cycle. Demonstrated understanding of IT infrastructure and application technologies.
