Electronics Engineering Manager/Engineer - Contract

Duration: Initially 3 months with likelihood of extension.
Location: The West Midlands.
My global industry leading client is embarking on an exciting period of growth therefore they require the services of an experienced Electronics Engineering Manager/Engineer to join and supervise their talented team working on a multitude of high profile projects.
My client is urgently looking for an Electronics Manager/Engineer to spend 60% of their time running the team of Electronics Engineers and 40% participating in the design and development technical activities - ideally with the following skills and experience:
* Solid technical electronics engineering experience.
* Working knowledge of Hardware development.
* Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
* Ability to manage and lead a team of electronics engineers.
* Hands on experience with electronics.
* Analogue and Digital experience.
* Proven previous management experience.
* Experience of managing a team of 5+ engineers is desirable.
* Knowledge of software would be an advantage.
