Description

Our partner is looking for Engineer to support them with Identifying, supporting and leading improvement initiatives for production processes, equipment/facilities; as well as support or lead investigations on problems and deviations including defining corrective and preventive actions. You will assure effective application of Lean Six Sigma methods in problem solving, leading improvement projects. Developing and transferring knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Change Execution Methodology and Inclusion within IPT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Improvement Projects - Contribute to improvement of business effectiveness and efficiency by:
  • Proposing process improvements and standardisation (eg A3 drafting).
  • Managing and reporting improvement initiatives as project lead.
  • Contributing to improvement initiatives as project team member.
  • Defining and reporting (financial) benefits of improvement projects.
  • Facilitating kaizens and workshops within IPT/CoE; and for whole site.
  • Evaluating indicators for business and value stream performance, usually by drafting value stream and process maps.
Data analysis and trending - Contribute to a data driven decision making process by:
  • Setting up tools and templates for data analysis.
  • Benchmarking to support goal setting.
Develop and implement visual management tools (eg in tier processes) - Development of others Contribute to the development of others by:
  • Coaching and training Lean Six Sigma/Change Management and Inclusion tools.
  • Coaching and training data analysis tools and methods.
  • Helping others in drafting A3's and value stream/process maps.
  • Creating positive external exposure by sharing best practices.
  • Attune MPS tools and templates with the MPS site community.
Lean Six Sigma, Change Management and Inclusion knowledge - Assure effective application of Lean Six Sigma, Change Management and Inclusion tools by:
  • Securing continuity of an appropriate Lean Six Sigma/Change, Management/Inclusion level of knowledge.
  • Supporting and coaching in an effective application of Lean Six, Sigma/Change Management/Inclusion tools.
  • Leading by example in achieving results by using High Performance Organisation tools.
  • Facilitating in problem solving & risk assessment (FMEA) in projects/meetings.
  • Pro-actively coaching and teaching tools (eg BCCM) in (Tier) meetings and project meetings.
  • Leading by example in Inclusive behaviors and Change Management tools.
General

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Management & employees of own IPT/CoE and other IPT/CoE and site management.
  • Improvement engineers and project team members within IPT's/CoE's.
  • Global Functions (eg Finance, Technology Support, MPS, Engineering Services, Procurement, R&D, GRAID).
External
  • Peer MMD(-AH) sites.
  • Contractors.
  • Suppliers.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • University Degree/Bachelor.
    • Change Execution Methodology and Inclusion training (Strong) project management skills & proven ability to manage (complex) projects.
    • Possessing Green Belt (level 1, 2) or Black Belt (level 3).
    • Customer focused, process oriented and data driven.
    • Passion for Lean and Continuous Improvement.
    • Ability to drive for behavioural changes.
    • Dutch and English communication skills (verbally and written).
