Description

Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for Non-conformity Reports (NCR) coordinator for the onshore wind industry.

This is a technical role requiring an engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or solid industrial engineering experience. Candidates with a Quality Assurance or Quality Control background will be ideal for this post.

Our client will consider recent graduates as well as more experienced candidates.

This is primarily an office based role in the city centre of Edinburgh, however, there will be occasional travel to wind farms around the country to inspect parts for conformity issues.

The role will be temporary for 15 months with a possibility of extension after this time.

You will be responsible for two main areas of work:

Firstly to ensure that corrective actions are identified, monitored and implemented for all relevant NCRs during the project delivery phase and secondly to assure and maintain the Non-Conformity management system on a local level.

There is a great deal of paperwork and managing of reports in this role but as well as this, candidates will need to review parts that are potentially faulty and so you will need to have Engineering experience or relevant qualifications.

SAP is the system used for tracking reports so experience with this will be useful but is not required.

If you have experience with Wind Turbines then this will strongly aid your application but any relevant industrial experience will be of interest.

If you would like to be considered for this role please contact Luke Westendarp and apply with your latest CV.
