We love clean, well-organized code, as much as we love creativity and clarity in design. We believe that in order to build a beautiful interface, we need to stay consistently-tuned to our clients and their needs. Ameego is growing and we’re looking for another star performer to join our awesome and extremely good looking team ;). Currently, we’re looking for a contractual UX/UI Designer who absolutely loves design, collaboration, and exceeding expectations.
What you'll be focusing on
At Ameego, things are constantly moving, and moving quickly. As a UX/UI designer, you’ll always be working on different things. At times, you could be working on a client-specific enhancement, other times you might be tweaking an existing tool within Ameego, or designing a ground-breaking new component.
Innovating an industry
At Ameego, we build and deliver tools that change the rules of the game. We work a lot with the restaurant industry and our main focus is on scheduling, labor and staff management. The tools you'll help to build will drastically improve the personal lives of our users, and enable the organizations we work with to replicate success.

It all comes down to results, and our expectations are very high. Everyone in our crew is a star performer and they live to exceed expectations. That’s the standard by which we live, work and play. We’re not too hot on ‘presentee-ism’ - just showing up for 8 hours a day and not delivering. Results are where it’s at and that’s how we operate.
We work in what’s called a ‘ROWE’. It stands for ‘Results Only Work Environment’. Basically it means that as long as you deliver results, do whatever the heck you want, whenever the heck you want to.
Skill set
- Be awesome
- Be really awesome
- Loves UI and UX, and has experience in both
- Wizard-like ability to demonstrate your design before coding (photoshop, finger painting, hand shadow puppets, etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- At least basic skills in HTML, Javascript, CSS would be great, but if you’re really good, tell us.
- We think being an expert is sexy.
