Description
OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Cerner Critical Care Project Manager for a 10 month contract opportunity located in the Maryland area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight of the design, build, validation, test, and implementation of the critical care application during the Phase III implementation.
- Work with project leadership to coordinate project activities and status with appropriate project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Manage issue identification, management and resolution.
- Manage project milestone events as outlined in Project Charter
- Manage and mitigate risks throughout project and report any issues that may impact the project timelines.
- Weekly status reports to include: accomplishments, open issues, escalations, mitigation plan and hours worked.
- Interaction with IT and Clinical stakeholders as necessary.
- Interaction with and direction of Cerner Corp and Cerner project resources as needed.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with IT analyst as appropriate for solution knowledge and transition.
REQUIREMENTS:
- PMP
- Cerner Critical Care Build Experience
- 4 years of PM experience
- On-site weekly
