We are looking for a Virtualization Specialist to be part of a Global IT Company!
You will be a Network System Analyst in an employee driven Company in Prague, Czech Republic, that put you at the centre of their value, whose main interests are trust and transparency. A big company that achieved extraordinary results in terms of Profit, Revenue and Market Capitalization.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Network Specialist you will provide technical expertise for planning and defining upgrade requirements. You will manage Security rights and privileges to ensure access control is configured to maximize resource output while maintaining the best level of security possible and coordinate with Quality Managers to ensure that all required processes and procedures are followed and deviations/exception are documented properly. You will follow, maintain and update Engineering standards for design, deployment and operation of Private Cloud Infrastructure and create new system recommendations to meet user needs, including the system configurations and installation planning. You will also identify and document processes that can be automated or industrialized and provide technical recommendations regarding Cloud computing: specifically automation and self-service related toolsets. You will report major outages, service interruptions, and service failures to the user community and assist in the analysis of the interruptions when they occur and maintain current knowledge of the entire VMware product line, as well as assist in the development of standard reusable VMware "productized" consulting service offerings, including definition of tasks, deliverables and standard estimates.
Who is the ideal candidate?
To be the ideal candidate for this Virtualization job, you will have years of relevant experience, years of Virtualization (VMware) and Cloud technologies and experience with Converged and Hyper-converged infrastructure architecture, design, deployment and operations. You will have experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning and experience in a technical lead role for small- or medium-size teams. You will have sound knowledge of Enterprise Storage, Networking and Security and Basic knowledge of Service Management (ITIL) through experience or certification. Experience of working in GxP/SOX qualified environments and working in a Matrix organization including off-shore teams are required.
