Role Description:-
The candidate will be involved in the first, second and third level support of our SAS 9.3/9.4 CSFB enterprise application.
SAS Administrator will be contributing to the support and administration of these applications.
SAS Administrator will be required to work closely with our development teams as well as with our business customers, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills further in a fast-paced highly technical environment as well as learn first-hand in our financial environment.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
SAS Grid Administration and end-user management
SAS 9.4/9.3 and LSF 7.1/9.1installation, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting
Application of hot fixes, patches, Service packs, version upgrades and changes to SAS (both windows and Linux) and LSF software
SAS Administrator Review, evaluate, and select all SAS software fixes for relevance
Capture, parse, and analyse SAS-related records from the system log files and SAS logs
Monitor; maintain SAS security model, like Metadata security and metadata bound libraries and all SAS Authentications
Support users client tools SAS Enterprise Guide, JMP, E Miner and SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office.
Periodically review and test disaster recovery (DR) procedures Install and manage SAS monitoring tools like RTM and APM
Proficient in Linux or UNIX operating system administration concepts
Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, HNAS)
Familiarity with Change Management and Version Control processes
Ability to work closely with Business Community to resolve current issues and to be able to predict future enhancements necessary based on the usage pattern
Knowledge of SAS PC product packaging process and best practices
Support all stages of IT application administration first, second & third level focusing
