Description
My client is looking for a Senior DevOps Developer to work initially on a short term project for a client in Holland. This opportunity will be working on a full time basis (40 hours a week during 5 working days)
Duties to be performed in the role:
The consultant will perform the following tasks/services in relation to the solution:
-Assist in the design of a Puppet configuration management setup, as well as on the development of manifests and scripts;
-Assist in the design and development of Powershell modules and scripts;
-Participate in DevOps activities such as automation of application deployments, OS configuration (Windows and Linux), VM provisioning (using VMWare APIs), automated generation of application diagrams, automation of performance, security and other technical tests, etc.
- Write unit tests and/or integration tests for software components;
- Liaise with other technical teams working on sub-modules of the same solution.
The successful candidate will require the following skills:

Mandatory: Working knowledge of English:
Professional Experience
Mandatory: A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
Mandatory: A minimum of 1 year of experience working on automated deployment and configuration of applications and other DevOps and Continuous Delivery tasks with tools such as Puppet, Chef, Powershell, etc
Mandatory: A minimum of 3 years of experience working on multi developer projects using collaboration tools like code repository, work item management and Continuous Integration tool
Professional Knowledge - mandatory or desirable
Mandatory: Knowledge of TeamCity
Desirable: Knowledge of Puppet
Desirable: Knowledge of Powershell
Desirable: Knowledge of VMWare PowerCLI API
Mandatory: Certification: 3 years of formal higher education [at least equivalent to a level of bachelor degree.
