VB Developer | SQL | 6 months | Dublin, Ireland
VB Developer with proven experience of version 6 or higher for a 6 month contract based in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Competencies and Experience
- Experience of working on both New-build and Maintenance programs in Banking or similar industries.
- Strong experience working with VB6/SQL 2005 developments.
- Familiarity with structured SDLC methodologies.
- Experience in development practices including work estimation, testing and test automation, code review, code packaging.
- Experience of ensuring adherence to Architectural Policies and Standards (Compliance).
- Solid communication and team player skills with ability to actively participate in solution design and problem solving.
- Effectiveness in listening and understanding business objectives and translating this knowledge into coded solutions.
- Be able to understand and work with industry-standard architecture and design artifacts, models and notations.
- Produce meaningful and appropriate documentation.
