SAP SCM Solution Architect
Our client, a big international company operating all over the world, is looking for senior SAP SCM solution architect. This is a short advisory project for 30 man days based in the beautiful city of Shenzhen, China. The work needs to be performed on site in China, so this is a great opportunity to do a trip and visit the country.
Scope of Tasks:
The solution architecture should be based on SAP's latest solution profile, even some solution in SAP's roadmap, because what our customer is doing is to make the overall planning for 5 ~ 10 year business growth.
It should be a forward looking architecture. Also in this architecture you need to elaborate how the new technologies (or digital economies) would interact with supply chain.
You should have:
- Have the holistic view of the whole supply chain areas
- Have the deep study on the next generation supply chain.
- Have serious thinking on the development trends of the supply chain.
- Understand how the development of Industry4.0 as well as the latest technologies impact to the supply chain.
- Have the deep knowledge about SAP next generation supply chain solution, especially the IBP planning solution
- Understand the characteristics of supply chain for High-tech industry and discrete manufacturing.
- Experiences on solution architecture design for supply chain business
- Work with business consultant to understand the business solutions.
- Design the general IT solution architecture of the Real Time supply chain for customer and prepare the related deliverables including the architecture and related descriptions.
The architecture should have the enough detail to let our client understand the concept, the general application architecture, the solutions, the related new technologies and why you use these technologies in the supply chain, the key futures. What are the advantages, why it's a design for future. Ultimately the point is that you need to make a proper proposal to them and convince them to adopt SAP solution. (Remarks, the design should not be based on the current pain points. The design should reflect the future, considering the technology development and business development)
- Match SAP solution to the above general IT solution, for eg. IBP
- Design the transformation road map
