Summary:

Seeking a Senior Web Engineer with strong experience in VB.NET/C# .NET
Will be working with a Legacy product with a good customer base that needs refactoring.
Product is a platform for public to anonymously report issues to law enforcement - Tipsoft
Project is not the best code environment, so someone is needed to improve it - the is room to provide suggestions.
Will be putting in open source components written in native .net, getting rid of comp components.

SKILLS:

Skills

Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering
Must be a good communicator with strong English communication skills
Preferably someone who has past history of refactoring the schema in a SQL Server database (2008)
Strong experience with VB.NET/C# .NET
SQL Server
Knowledge of COM and Legacy components
Strong web developer and skilled with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
ASP.NET Web Forms
Ability to work with and refactor Legacy code
Ability to work with and refactor Legacy databases
Over five years of experience
Independent
