Description
Halian is currently looking for a Sybase Database Administrator to reinforce our managed services team in charge of the IT infrastructure of a major European Institution located in Luxembourg.
Key skills and Background:
- University Degree in computer sciences
- At least 5 years of proven experience as Sybase Database Administrator in production environment: development, test, UAT, production
- Strong knowledge of, Sybase IQ, Sybase ASE, RedHat
- Good knowledge of: Autosys, Nagios, Netbackup
Knowledge in any of the following products will be considered as great asset:
- MSSQL
- Oracle
- English is mandatory, French nice to have
- You are autonomous and flexible
- You have a good sense of team spirit
- You are customer oriented as it is a must to adhere to Halian's culture.

As a Sybase DBA you will be part of a highly skilled team and your responsibilities will be:
- Participate actively in daily tasks
- Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting
- Prepare and execute small and large projects
- Contribute to the delivery of projects
- Propose and contribute to technical improvement plans
- Ensure compliancy (in operations and projects)
- Insure client satisfaction
