Description

Press Loft is a fast-growing global PR technology platform with offices in Southbank- London, Sydney and Milan.

We are looking for a UX / UI designer and front end developer who is Passionate about creating clean and engaging websites interfaces to be responsible for the visual representation of Press Loft.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to bring to life high-level business requirements & then turn them in to beautiful user interfaces through from concept to final handover to the back-end dev team.

You will make our new and existing services as simple and elegant as possible by working through a process using wire-frames, story boards, site maps, user and process flows, leading through to the presentation of concept designs and then the front-end development of the final selection.

Responsiblities:

  • Effective design application & interpretation of the strategic visions of the business
  • Producing wireframes, story boards, user and process flows, site maps, concepts and final front end implementation
  • Working efficiently to bring concepts to life and improve existing products and services
  • Understanding and implementing good UX skills to refine the flow & experience for customers
  • Collaborate with senior management, IT and marketing to develop ideas and designs
  • Carry out user research and evaluate feedback
  • Develop design guidelines, best practices and standards for the company and Instill brand consistency across all communication channels
  • Effectively communicating your design decisions clearly to IT, marketing global teams and directors.


Skills:

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design
  • Strong portfolio – please provide links / examples in your CV / covering letter
  • Expert Adobe skills
  • Proficient Html and CSS skills
  • Strong understanding & application of user experience design principles
  • Good understanding of AngularJS or other advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.
  • Ability to prototype user interfaces in working HTML with CSS based upon simple wireframe models
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (github in particular)
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Wireframing, user and process flows, site maps,
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ability to apply these to designs
  • As we are in the design industry we need someone who is knowledgeable about the latest trends in web design


Location:
Sunny office on Southbank (behind the Oxo Tower) London SE1, UK

Would consider remote working for the right person

Hours:

9.30am – 5.30pm (5pm finish on Fridays)

Salary:

£34000- £37000
